Where does embodying freedom come from?
Joelle Eberhart has been training bodies since she was 17. When she watched 90 year olds build real strength in a slow movement gym she realized that capability has no age limit.
Over the years she earned her Certified L1 CrossFit Coach, FRC Mobility Specialist, and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials, combining them into a philosophy that treats fitness and nutrition as two halves of one whole. Her approach connects mind to body rather than enforcing rigid technique, empowering clients to feel where they are weak, understand why, and eventually learn to address their own imbalances. She built JoStrong on the belief that motion is medicine, that no food should be off limits, and that the strongest version of yourself is the one that moves without fear
Jo Strong regards fitness and nutrition as the two halves of embodied freedom.
By honoring both, our clients meaningfully transform their lives.
Reclaiming hope
Just because traditional PT did not work does not mean recovery and pain free days are off the table.
Regaining self-trust
It is never too late to become the strongest and most confident version of yourself.
Becoming life-long strong
Even a body that feels too stiff to stretch can learn to sit in a squat and move without limitation.
Patient. Open minded. Attentive.
While we aim to work with everyone, these traits were common among our most transformed and healed clients.
Patience
The clients who succeed trust the process without putting a strict timeline on their transformation.
Open mind
New movements feel strange because your body has never experienced them, and that unfamiliarity is exactly where growth lives.
Body awareness
Your coach provides the guidance, but it is up to you to feel what is working and relay what is happening in your body.
Precise communication
Learning the difference between pain and soreness, tiredness and muscle failure, is what separates months of progress from weeks.
Movement for life
JoStrong is an inclusive philosophy for all ages, genders, and bodies who are serious about reclaiming their body's freedom to move.
